Grinding Elements
Alsto’s bowls, discs, rings and rollers are an essential element in the laboratory grinding and pulverising process. Nearly universal to suit multiple brands of pulverisers and uses spacer rings to adapt for different sizes. Available in nine different sizes of hardened (standard) steel and with chrome steel options to cover a wide range of ore types. We also have two tungsten carbide sizes available for when steel contamination is to be avoided.

Used by many laboratories when limiting elemental contamination is very crucial. All grinding surfaces are made by sintering carbide powder with a cobalt metal powder binder ensuring the sample has contact with just two elements – Tungsten and Cobalt. As the tungsten carbide material is very brittle, to protect the bowl it sits in a mild steel case. Available in two sizes 125cc & 250cc, each are supplied as a set (Bowl, Ring, Roller and lid).
